Should have taken a group tour!
Below is an actual E-mail from one of our clients who travelled half-way around the world to meet just one woman, something we try to discourage at A Foreign Affair.
John,
I really wish I had taken your advice about the tour. I keep thinking that maybe I’m getting wiser as I get older, then something like my trip to Riga happens, and all I have left is another lesson learned the hard way. I just want to kick myself. I thought I could trust my wits, instinct and the woman I went to visit. I learned that I was out of my league on this one, and feel very naive.
I’m thinking ahead now, and hopefully I can join a tour within a year. I have to save money and vacation time.

Nervous
I am very nervous now because I am planning a trip to Riga on July 27 to meet one lady. Hopefully my backup plan will work and if stranded I will stay close to the Riga Hotel. Latvia is a beautiful country from what I have seen.
