I would like to say that I also was in a position like many of you looking for a Russian women to marry. I did not know where to start but became interested in these women just going through the internet. I happened to run across this certain site where I could not believe how beautiful these women were. Well I did what most of us would do and wanted to make contact. So I decied to write maybe 2 or 3 of these women. Well after getting drawn into their letters I was becoming more excited and did'nt realize it. After some letters I was informed that I must pay for the services so that I could continue to contact this woman. This went on for about 3 months and I did pay for her letters to be translated. Only did I not know that I was being scammed for this. I sent a little money to this woman, not too much but enough. As time went on, her stories became crazier about why she needed money. Well I decided to look into a scam website I came across and lo and behold there she was. I could not believe what I had just done. I still wanted to find out if she was for real. I hired a marriage agency to send her flowers to her home. Well she did end up being real as I received photos of her with the flowers I had sent. A short time later she suddenly had to leave town. I guess what I am trying to say is never send anything to these women until you have met them in their country. Women from Ukraine or Russia cannot get visa's unless we apply for them first. No travel agency or any one else there can get them one. Never fall for this, ever. After this I went to Ukraine with a tour group that was very reputable and I had the opportunity to meet many woman, but I did'nt care for these tours. Majority of them don't work and are just a waste of time and money. After my return I found an agency in Ukraine, paid a little money to correspond for a few letters, got the woman's tel # and email and we continued our correspond for a few months and I returned on my own. I spent 17 days there with her, rented a flat and had a wonderful time. Whem I returned I knew this was the woman I wanted to marry and I again went back 2 months later and spent the summer with her. I brought along my K-1 visa documents, got all of her information and when I returned, filed this all by myself. I did'nt need a visa attorney or any other help. It took about 4 months to receive my documents saying my visa had been approved and she would have an interview in 2 weeks. Our interview went perfectly and she received her K-1 visa within 2 days. I am happy to say we have been married for 2 months now and things could'nt be better. Women from Ukraine or Russsia are so different from American women. The short end of the story is, you have to be careful what you're doing as it is very easy to be scammed, but if you truly want a wonderful woman, then this is where you want to go.
